About the Area Manager II Position:
In the role of ICQA Area Manager II, you will be responsible for overseeing ICQA operations and supervising ICQA associates as they carry out quality routines, research, and functions. Your focus will include performing standard work audits and gap evaluations to establish an equitable workplace environment that aids in talent retention. Furthermore, you will play a key role in coaching and developing your associates to excel in their current positions and advance to the next level.
Stord requires candidates with exceptional communication and organizational capabilities, who thrive under pressure and possess proficiency in various platforms, such as warehouse, order, and labor management systems. Key responsibilities include managing inventory shrink, ensuring warehouse bin accuracy, and leveraging continuous improvement tools to foster positive outcomes.
Flexibility is essential, including the availability to work overtime, evenings, and weekends according to business needs.

What You'll Do:
Program Execution & Oversight
Oversee all ICQA activities (cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, investigations, reconciliations, projects) for the assigned site.
Ensure consistent application of SOPs, KPI tracking, and corrective action processes.
Performance & Metrics
Review daily/weekly data to identify trends, high-risk areas, and performance drift, to include workload planning activities.
Conduct weekly reviews with ICQA Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with customer-specific quality requirements.
Support execution of CAPA, audit responses, and inventory-related escalations.
People Leadership
Directly manage and develop ICQA Leads and Associates.
Create a culture of accuracy, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.
Continuous Improvement
Support root cause analysis and CAPA implementation to address errors and control gaps.

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of two to four years' experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) / inventory systems in a high-volume facility.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
  • Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with all levels of management and support teams.
  • Able to transport up to 20 lbs.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Able to effectively use relevant material handling equipment (i.e forklifts).
  • Able to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information.
  • Able to work in a Distribution center environment which includes exposure to work at varying heights; varying temperatures; moderate and consistent noise levels.
  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
