We are seeking incredible Ice Cream Scoopers to join the teams at The Penny Ice Creamery in Palo Alto and Los Altos!
The Penny Ice Creamery, founded in Santa Cruz, CA makes ice cream completely from scratch, in house, using local and organic ingredients sourced from local farms and foragers. We make unique flavors like Blackberry Sweet Corn, Earl of Grey, and Olive Oil Chocolate Sea Salt! We also make timeless flavors like Cookies n' Cream and Straight Up Strawberry, and our classics like Fresh Mint Chip, Tahitian Vanilla Bean, and Dark Chocolate.
As an Ice Cream Scooper, you will be creating a fun and memorable experience for our guests by scooping ice cream, making ice cream sundaes and milkshakes and various novelty items, making craft coffee and tea drinks, and of course toasting that marshmallow fluff.
We operate two Penny Ice Creamery locations in Santa Clara County:
- The State Street Market in Los Altos
- The Town and Country Village in Palo Alto
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work alone/ unsupervised.
  • Must have availability during the week, weekends and holidays on a reliable basis.
  • Must be available to work 20 hours a week on a reliable basis.
  • Preference will be given to individuals with experience in food service, although we will train the right person.
