Job description

Ice Attendant:

• Ability to ice skate

• Customer relations

• Works the skate counter

• Works alongside Supervisors to maintain facility cleanliness

• Works alongside Supervisors for miscellaneous tasks and setups

• Maintains the quality of the rental skates and equipment

• Ensures the safety of our customers

• Previous experience working at an ice rink or sport facility preferred

• Experience with construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry a plus

• Attention to detail including excellent time management and organizational skills

• Strong communication skills as well as very strong interpersonal skills

• Strong work ethic and passion to build a career in facility management

• Ability to be work well independently and in a team environment.

• Ability to display high level of integrity, positivity, and be self-accountable in all aspects of the job

• Work will require weekend/holiday and/or evening work

• Must successfully clear a background check.

Operations Supervisor:

· Operates the Zamboni and edger to maintain superior ice quality

Customer relations

Hourly building walkthroughs

 Responsible for maintaining compressor room and filling out daily logs

 Responsible for daily ice maintenance

Responsible for monitoring public skates

Keep inventory of cleaning supplies and notify Operations Manager when low

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building, inside and outside

Responsible for skate sharpening

Responsible for setting up events/parties in a timely fashion

· Responsible for training new Operations Supervisors and Ice Attendants

· Reports to the Operations Manager

· Responsible for customer relations

· Responsible for completion of incident reports

· Responsible for providing starting banks, cash exchange, and cash out procedures

· Ensures the safety of our customers

· Familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) preferred

· Valid California driver’s license required

· High school diploma or GED equivalent required

· CPR certification preferred

· Previous experience working at an ice rink or sport facility preferred

· Experience with construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry a plus

· Attention to detail including excellent time management and organizational skills

· Strong communication skills as well as very strong interpersonal skills

· Strong work ethic and passion to build a career in facility management

· Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

· Ability to display high level of integrity, positivity, and be self-accountable in all aspects of the job

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
