What does an ice machine repair tech do?

An Ice Machine Repair Tech specializes in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and residential ice machines. Their responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, cleaning and sanitizing units, replacing faulty components, and ensuring machines operate efficiently. They may work with various types of ice makers and must be familiar with safety and refrigeration standards. Regular maintenance and timely repairs performed by these technicians help prevent breakdowns and ensure a continuous supply of ice.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an ice machine repair tech, and why are they important?
