Potential Motion Health is looking for a qualified Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dedicated healthcare team in Reno, Nevada. This position is onsite in our outpatient clinic, where you will work collaboratively within a supportive team environment. The clinic is equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and equipment, including therapeutic modalities, resistance training units, and tools for balance and coordination training. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, creating a stable schedule that promotes work-life balance.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess each patient's physical condition, identifying specific limitations and functional capabilities.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and the patient's personal goals.
• Administer effective hands-on physical therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as heat therapy, ice application, and electrical stimulation.
• Provide patient education focused on enhancing understanding of their conditions, including posture improvement, body mechanics, and strategies for injury prevention.
• Continuously monitor and document progress through accurate patient records, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure that every patient's care is coordinated and comprehensive.

In this role, you will cater to a diverse patient population, ranging from individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries to those suffering from chronic pain conditions such as arthritis. You will also assist athletes in injury recovery, helping them safely return to their sports. Your focus will be on delivering compassionate care while fostering a motivating environment that encourages patient participation in their rehabilitation process.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
• Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is required.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is essential.

• Proficiency in advanced physical therapy techniques and a strong foundation in manual therapy.
• Experience working with a wide variety of patient populations, including post-surgical patients and chronic pain sufferers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively assess and respond to diverse rehabilitation needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to cultivate trusting relationships with patients, their families, and fellow healthcare professionals.
