The Indiana College Core (ICC) is a block of 30 credit hours of college-level coursework in 6 competency areas. Awarded as a certificate, the ICC is guaranteed to transfer between all Indiana public colleges and universities.
Job Summary
The Operations Administrator for IUB Indiana College Core High School Partnerships supports the administration and delivery of the Indiana University Bloomington Indiana College Core (IUB ICC) in participating high schools.
Department Specific Responsibilities
  • Reports to the Assistant Vice Provost for Pre-College and College Transition Programs.
  • Serves as a primary operational contact for partner schools while supporting enrollment, records management, communications, reporting, and implementation of the IUB ICC in high schools.
  • Plays a key role in maintaining positive school partnerships, ensuring timely support, and facilitating the day-to-day operations regarding high school delivery of the IUB ICC.
  • Serves as an operational contact for IUB ICC partner high schools.
  • Responds to questions from school personnel about student progress on IUB ICC.
  • Supports student enrollment, registration, and record management processes.
  • Maintains and utilize university systems, including student records and admissions-related systems.
  • Monitors shared program inboxes and coordinate communications.
  • Tracks program participation, deadlines, and required documentation.
  • Assists with reporting and data management.
  • Documents program procedures and workflows.
  • Escalates policy, compliance, and academic issues to appropriate staff.
  • Supports program continuity during a period of organizational transition.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
  • Bachelor's degree
SKILLS
Preferred
  • Familiarity with Indiana high school operations.
  • Understanding of Indiana College Core requirements, dual credit programs, and secondary-postsecondary partnerships.
  • Familiarity with administrative systems used in K-12, higher education, or student-support environments, including student information and data management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with school counselors, administrators, teachers, students, and families.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
