What We're Looking For

Our Community Branch Network Division is growing and we're seeking a client-focused Insurance Advisors! We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Our Richmond location is our largest and busiest branch! Located in the largest auto mall in Western Canada, this busy branch services multiple different dealerships within the Richmond Auto Mall.

Requirements

  • Level 1 General Insurance License.

  • 6+ months of previous insurance experience; ideally as a Road Advisor.

  • Strong communication written and verbal; someone who is experienced in building relationships with clients through a customer service mindset.

  • An entrepreneurial spirit with a high sales drive and initiative.

  • A valid driver's license and your own personal vehicle to travel to dealership locations.

Asset experience that will make you stand out:

  • You have or are working towards an industry designation.

  • You have working proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese language skills.

A Day in the Life

  • First things first, you'll provide ICBC and private auto coverage in the office and dealerships.

  • We work as a team so, you'll assist in the office as needed by helping customers at the counter, answering telephones and everything in between.

  • You'll handle any customer complaints with professionalism and understanding.

  • You'll set and adhere to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan and Private Auto Sales production.

  • You'll ensure compliance with all insurers, Insurance Council of BC and Privacy Act rules and regulations.

  • You'll ensure control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documentation and funds.

  • We want you to grow too! You'll be continuing your professional development in order to further enhance your skills and abilities.

  • At the end of the day, we represent HUB. You'll need to ensure that you understand and live up to our HUB values, mission and vision.

The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
