Job description

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens, serving the culturally diverse community of Eastern Queens, is seeking a full-time board-certified Addiction Psychiatrist with an interest in medical education and curricular development who will provide outstanding leadership and vision to assist in the development of our newly launched Residency Training Program. The Attending Psychiatrist will provide direct patient care for the department of Psychiatry, which will include addiction treatment in the outpatient setting as well as provide consultations and prescribing abilities to patients in the Queens Hospital EDs and Inpatient services.

We offer faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System based on qualifications. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multidisciplinary leadership team working with a diverse patient population in a major clinical and training institution.

Mount Sinai/Queens offers a collegial environment and competitive salary to include a sign in bonus along with full benefits. Candidates must have a MD degree and be board certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. This position requires current New York State License, Medicaid number and DEA number.
