Job description

DPP is seeking an IBM Sterling Integrator Analyst for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.
Work location: Partial onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and as needed
Duration: 12 months
Term: W2 position
Work authorization: Candidates must be eligible to earn a low-level (Public Trust) US security clearance.
Position description:
  • The IBM Sterling Integrator Analyst will lead the full lifecycle of B2B integrations from installation and partner onboarding through implementation, production support, administration, and optimization.
  • You will work directly with trading partners and internal teams, communicating effectively while driving stable, secure, and well-documented integrations.
  • Use deep hands-on technical expertise and strong troubleshooting skills across SI, SFG, Connect:Direct, SSP, and related components.
  • The ideal candidate can:
    • Proactively and effectively communicate with business partners, internal stakeholders, and technical teams
    • Seamlessly onboard multiple trading partners with minimal turnaround time.
    • Maintain a stable, high-performing integration environment with proactive monitoring.
    • Develop well-documented systems and repeatable processes.
    • Rapidly resolve production issues with minimal business impact. 
Key responsibilities:
  • Gather requirements with business stakeholders and trading partners then design, develop those requirements into profiles, accounts, BPML business processes, adapters, and services in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
  • Manage trading partner onboarding and configure then test bi-directional connectivity via SFTP, HTTPS, AS2, AWS S3, and Connect:Direct, including developing ITX mapping transformations for EDI X12, datasets, XML, and flat files.
  • Perform system administration (certificates, security, performance tuning), troubleshoot across platforms using logs/DB queries/Control Center, document solutions, and participate in on-call support for critical incidents. 
Preferred qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on IBM Sterling B2B Integrator experience with BPML development, workflow design, ITX mapping and strong knowledge of artner connectivity protocols (SFTP, HTTPS, AS2, AWS S3, Connect:Direct).
  • Experience with Sterling File Gateway mailbox routing, ITX mapping and integration, and related components such as SSP, SEAS, SCC, and Connect:Direct.
  • Solid background in Linux/Unix and scripting (Shell or Perl), with strong understanding of certificates, encryption, SSH and PGP keys, TLS, and secure file transfer best practices. 
Technical qualifications:
  • IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI): Develop and maintain integration configurations and BP workflows.
  • IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG): Configure partner onboarding and file routing via mailbox frameworks.
  • IBM Sterling MyFileGateway (MFG): Support secure web based external file exchange for business users.
  • IBM Sterling Transformation Extender (ITX): Build and maintain data transformation maps.
  • IBM Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP): Configure secure gateway for controlled external connectivity.
  • IBM Sterling Control Center (SCC): Set up monitoring, alerts, and reports on file transfer activity.
  • IBM Sterling Connect:Direct: Enable and support automated, secure file transfers between C:D nodes. 
Minimum required work experience:
  • 4 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience. 
Required education/equivalencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
  • OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
  • OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 8 years without a degree)
