Responsibilities
  • Deliver Infrastructure Solutions: Provide world‑class infrastructure services for clients with IBM Power servers running the IBM i operating system, ensuring high‑quality delivery that meets client needs.
  • Support Client Systems: Apply expertise to support client systems, providing solutions that optimize their IBM i infrastructure and meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Clients: Work with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that meet specific requirements, leveraging expertise in IBM i and Power servers.
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Required Technical & Professional Expertise
  • Exposure to IBM Power Servers: Familiarity with IBM Power servers and their operating systems, particularly IBM i, is essential.
  • Understanding of IBM i Operating System: Knowledge of the IBM i operating system, its features and capabilities, is necessary.
  • Experience with Infrastructure Services: Exposure to designing and implementing infrastructure services that meet client needs.
  • Familiarity with Client System Support: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in client systems.
  • Experience with Collaborative Solution Development: Working with clients to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Preferred Technical & Professional Experience
  • IBM Power Server Expertise: Advanced knowledge of IBM Power server features, including virtualization and high availability.
  • IBM i Operating System Knowledge: Advanced understanding of IBM i security and performance optimization.
  • Java Programming: Experience and knowledge.
  • C Programming: Experience and knowledge.
  • Familiarity with GitHub: Basic understanding of version control and navigation of GitHub repositories.
  • Basic Linux Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux OS, common commands, file system structure, and general concepts.
