We are currently seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our team in Buffalo, New York (US-NY), United States (US).
  • The role involves upgrading and supporting the z/OS operating system and ISV products, mainly from IBM and Computer Associates (CA)
  • The successful candidate will ideally have more than ten years of z/OS systems programming experience
  • Should have very strong Parallel Sysplex skills
  • Extensive experience of installing many (not just a few) IBM and CA products
  • Should have ideally worked in a Bank or organizations with large installations
  • Should be confident, able to work independently and start contributing from day one
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills and be a true team player
  • Will need provide off hours support for the implementation of software changes, when required
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.

  • 8+ years of experience in z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL, RACF

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $80-$106.99/hour. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate''s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
