Job Summary:
NTT DATA is a trusted global innovator of business and technology services. They are currently seeking a Mainframe Systems Programmer to upgrade and support the z/OS operating system and ISV products, primarily from IBM and Computer Associates.
Responsibilities:
• The role involves upgrading and supporting the z/OS operating system and ISV products, mainly from IBM and Computer Associates (CA)
• The successful candidate will ideally have more than ten years of z/OS systems programming experience
• Should have very strong Parallel Sysplex skills
• Extensive experience of installing many (not just a few) IBM and CA products
• Should have ideally worked in a Bank or organizations with large installations
• Should be confident, able to work independently and start contributing from day one
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and be a true team player
• Will need provide off hours support for the implementation of software changes, when required
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8+ years of experience in z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL, RACF
• Parallel Sysplex
• Installation of several different IBM and CA products
• More than ten years of z/OS systems programming experience
• Very strong Parallel Sysplex skills
• Extensive experience of installing many (not just a few) IBM and CA products
• Worked in a Bank or organizations with large installations
• Confident, able to work independently and start contributing from day one
• Excellent problem-solving skills and be a true team player
• Provide off hours support for the implementation of software changes, when required
