Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM BPM / IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) administration.
  • Experience with installation, configuration, deployment, and support of IBM BPM environments.
  • Strong expertise in WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration and clustering.
  • Experience with deployment and release management of BPM artifacts, process apps, and toolkits.
  • Experience in JVM, WebSphere, and database performance tuning.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience with Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server database integration.
  • Knowledge of LDAP, SSO, certificates, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Scripting and automation experience using Shell, Python, or Jython.
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix and/or Windows server environments.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in IBM BPM / BAW platform engineering and administration.
  • Experience managing development, QA, UAT, and production BPM environments.
  • Experience with platform upgrades, patching, and environment migrations.
  • Experience in monitoring, performance optimization, and platform support.
  • Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.

  • Install, configure, maintain, and support IBM BPM / BAW environments.
  • Manage clusters, nodes, application servers, profiles, and middleware components.
  • Perform environment setup, upgrades, patching, and configuration management.
  • Manage deployment and migration of BPM applications, process apps, and toolkits.
  • Support release management activities including deployment validation and rollback planning.
  • Monitor system health, application performance, and platform utilization.
  • Troubleshoot memory issues, thread issues, deployment failures, and environment instability.
  • Tune IBM BPM, WebSphere Application Server, JVM, and database configurations.
  • Provide L2/L3 production support and incident resolution.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
  • Support integrations with enterprise systems, databases, and middleware services.
  • Implement platform security, access controls, and environment hardening practices.
  • Support audit, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Create and maintain architecture documents, runbooks, deployment guides, and operational documentation.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, development, DevOps, and business teams.
