Job Summary:
IBM is a leader in global sales, focusing on innovation and collaboration to solve complex business challenges. The Account Technical Leader will lead the technical strategy for IBM's Technology portfolio, working closely with clients to develop tailored solutions that drive digital transformation.
Responsibilities:
• Define Technical Strategy: Lead the development of a comprehensive technical strategy for clients, incorporating IBM's Technology Portfolio, including Software and Infrastructure offerings.
• Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their business and technical challenges, strategies, and priorities, and develop tailored solutions to address their needs.
• Develop Client Technical Strategy: Document and execute an IBM Client Technical Strategy (CTS) that aligns with the client's goals and objectives.
• Provide Trusted Advisory: Act as a trusted IT architecture advisor, providing expert guidance on IBM's Technology Portfolio, including Data Platform, Automation Platform, Transaction Processing Platform, Hybrid Cloud Platform, Power, Storage, Cloud, TLS, and zHW.
• Execute Tactical Engagements: Lead tactical engagements with clients, collaborating with Technology MD/Seller, and brand sales to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Deep Expertise in IT Architecture: Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive technical strategies, leveraging a broad range of technologies, including software and infrastructure offerings.
• Experience with IBM Technology Portfolio: In-depth knowledge of IBM's Software and Infrastructure products, including Data Platform, Automation Platform, Transaction Processing Platform, Hybrid Cloud Platform, Power, Storage, Cloud, TLS, and zHW.
• Technical Strategy Development: Skilled in developing and executing technical strategies that align with client business objectives, incorporating IBM's Technology Portfolio.
• Client-Facing Experience: Proven ability to work closely with clients, understanding their business and technical challenges, and developing tailored solutions to address their needs.
• Cross-Domain Technical Leadership: Experience leading technical teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
Preferred:
• Deep Understanding of IBM Software: In-depth knowledge of IBM's four Software Platforms, including Data Platform, Automation Platform, Transaction Processing Platform, and Hybrid Cloud Platform, with products such as DataStage, Concert, IntelliMagic, and Granite 3.0.
• Familiarity with IBM Infrastructure: Experience with IBM's Infrastructure product portfolios, including Power, Storage, Cloud, TLS, and zHW, with products such as Power10, Storage Scale, Hyper Protect Virtual Servers, and z16.
