In this role, you will work closely with the CNO community to analyze complex datasets, assess emerging technologies such as large language models (LLMs), and develop data-driven solutions that enhance cyber capabilities and operational effectiveness.
You will transform large-scale, unstructured data into actionable intelligence through statistical modeling, machine learning, and advanced analytics. Leveraging strong Python expertise, you will build data pipelines, automate workflows, and develop analytical tools to support Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) mission needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply data science techniques across mathematical, statistical, and computational domains to solve complex mission problems
  • Analyze and assess large language models (LLMs) for applicability to CNE capabilities and operational use
  • Perform data aggregation, normalization, and transformation on large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
  • Develop and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics solutions
  • Build and optimize data pipelines and workflows to support reproducible analytics
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and inference modeling
  • Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate analytical findings
  • Translate mission requirements into technical data specifications and analytical workflows
  • Support cyber operations by analyzing tools, techniques, and mission data within the CNO environment
  • Communicate analytical findings and model outputs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in Python, including experience with dataframes, aggregation, and analytics development (e.g., Jupyter Notebooks)
  • Experience working with large-scale, complex, and unstructured datasets
  • Strong background in mathematics and statistics with applied experience in machine learning and modeling
  • Experience with data visualization tools and libraries such as Plotly, Shapely, and GeoPandas
  • Experience with data processing, normalization, transformation, and workflow automation
  • Familiarity with dataflow concepts and distributed data processing environments
  • Experience with xKS/DX or similar data platforms is preferred
  • Experience assessing AI/ML models, including performance evaluation and applicability
  • Familiarity with cyber operations or Computer Network Exploitation (CNE) concepts is preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum Qualifications (one of the following):
    • Master's degree and eight (8) or more years of relevant experience; OR
    • Bachelor's degree and ten (10) or more years of relevant experience; OR
