We are seeking a System Admin (Integration/Middleware Administrator) to join our team. This role will involve administering and supporting enterprise middleware platforms, managing integrations across complex systems, ensuring system security compliance, and maintaining high availability of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in IBM middleware technologies, enterprise integration platforms, Linux system administration, and load balancing solutions, along with a passion for maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure enterprise infrastructure.

Job Description

The System Admin (Integration/Middleware Administrator) is responsible for managing enterprise middleware platforms and supporting integration solutions that enable large-scale system communication and operational efficiency. The System Admin (Integration/Middleware Administrator) will work on complex systems involving middleware platforms, application servers, integration services, and enterprise security frameworks.

The System Admin (Integration/Middleware Administrator) plays a key role in building, configuring, deploying, and maintaining middleware environments to ensure reliable application performance. The System Admin (Integration/Middleware Administrator) will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure and scalable solutions across multiple enterprise systems.

Additionally, the System Admin (Integration/Middleware Administrator) will analyze security vulnerability reports, implement mitigation strategies, apply patches, and ensure enterprise systems remain secure, stable, and compliant. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, technical expertise across middleware technologies, and experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications.


Key Responsibilities

• Build, configure, deploy, and support IBM middleware platforms including WebSphere Application Server Network Deploy, IBM HTTP Server, IBM Business Process Manager, IBM Integration Bus, IBM MQSeries, WebSphere Transformation Extender, and IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management.

• Provide operational support and consultation for enterprise software systems and integration platforms.

• Implement high-availability and secure infrastructure solutions using F5 load balancing technologies.

• Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts for middleware applications using tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.

• Support integrations between enterprise software systems and identity and access management (IAM) security platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve server, operating system, and middleware issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

• Monitor enterprise systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with established operational procedures.

• Deploy code updates and maintain release schedules for middleware and internal software packages.

• Apply system updates and fix-packs to application servers and middleware environments.

• Maintain consistent architectural topologies across environments while integrating application updates and infrastructure improvements.

• Create and maintain technical architecture documentation and system design documentation.

• Provide operational updates and knowledge transfer to internal teams and leadership stakeholders.

• Manage small to medium-scale technical implementation projects.


Required Skills & Experience

Middleware Administration – 5+ years experience
Experience installing, maintaining, and operating middleware platforms including Informatica ActiveVOS and enterprise integration platforms.

IBM Business Process Management Platforms – 5+ years experience
Experience administering IBM Business Process Manager (BPM), Business Automation Workflow (BAW), or WebSphere Process Server (WPS).

Enterprise Integration Platforms – 5+ years experience
Experience working with IBM Integration Bus (IIB), IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), or WebSphere Message Broker for enterprise system integrations.

Healthcare Integration Software – 5+ years experience
Experience supporting healthcare integration systems including HHS Integration Software (HHS Content, HHS Notify, and HHS Audit).

Load Balancing and Web Security – 4+ years experience
Experience implementing and supporting F5 Big-IP solutions for load balancing, web service security, and high-availability systems.


Preferred Skills

Enterprise Middleware Architecture – 8+ years experience
Experience in analysis, architectural design, and implementation of WebSphere Application Server Network Deploy topologies, IBM messaging software, business process platforms, and service bus architectures.

Linux System Administration – 7+ years experience
Hands-on experience administering Linux environments including system operations, automation, and scripting.

Enterprise Identity and Access Management Integration – 6+ years experience
Experience integrating IBM middleware environments with Oracle Identity and Access Management solutions.

IBM Curam Experience – 6+ years experience
Experience supporting or administering IBM Curam social program management systems.

Collaborative Lifecycle Management Tools – 3+ years experience
Experience supporting IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools for software development and change management.

Education
