Job Summary (List Format):
- Modify, develop, and optimize Mainframe Assembler (BAL) code for automated fuel dispenser transaction processing.
- Implement real-time logic changes for pre-authorization and transaction amount updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams and Visa to ensure seamless system integration and transaction reversals.
- Debug complex Assembler code using Xpediter and support thorough unit and integration testing.
- Participate in refining technical requirements and translate business needs into technical designs.
- Support phased delivery and ensure code stability and backward compatibility during multi-phase releases.
- Leverage 15+ years of Mainframe IBM Assembler development experience, especially in Connex payment environments.
- Apply strong knowledge of financial transaction messaging and automated fuel dispenser workflows.
- Work effectively in high-volume, near-real-time transaction systems, maintaining data integrity.
- Exhibit excellent collaboration and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Visa ISO 8583 standards and experience with large-scale system migrations in banking or retail fueling sectors.
