Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced AWS WorkSpaces Migration Architect to lead enterprise desktop migration initiatives, including discovery, assessment, architecture, migration planning, deployment, and transition activities. The role requires strong expertise in AWS WorkSpaces, EUC/VDI technologies, Terraform, image engineering, and CI/CD automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead discovery, assessment, sizing, dependency mapping, and migration planning.
  • Design migration waves, pilot deployments, cutover strategies, rollback procedures, and transition plans.
  • Architect and deploy AWS WorkSpaces Personal and WorkSpaces Pools.
  • Design persistent, non-persistent, and hybrid desktop environments.
  • Develop profile persistence strategies using FSLogix, User Profile Disks, Profile Containers, Amazon FSx, and App Layering.
  • Establish enterprise Golden Image strategies and image lifecycle management.
  • Design scaling, capacity planning, high availability, and disaster recovery architectures.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform modules for AWS WorkSpaces, VPC, and IAM.
  • Build CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and AWS CodePipeline.
  • Implement GitOps-based infrastructure deployment and automated compliance validation.
  • Optimize application delivery, user personalization, and data management.
