Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst to support Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives, access automation, governance, and cybersecurity programs.Learn more about career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com

This role will partner with technology, security, risk, and business stakeholders to drive delivery of strategic IAM initiatives, manage risks, and strengthen security controls across the enterprise.


In this role, you will:

  • Provide consultation on information security controls, regulatory requirements, risk management practices, and remediation strategies.
  • Partner with business, technology, cyber security, and risk teams to identify security risks and recommend mitigation approaches.
  • Drive execution of IAM programs and projects through Agile and traditional delivery methodologies.
  • Influence stakeholders and provide guidance on security-related changes impacting information assets and access management processes.
  • Monitor program risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation activities to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
  • Support audit, compliance, and regulatory initiatives through documentation, reporting, and control validation activities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable IAM capabilities aligned to business objectives.
  • Develop and present executive-level status reporting, risk assessments, and program updates.
  • Serve as a mentor and subject matter resource for team members and project participants.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams to manage security risks associated with IAM platforms and services.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using AI assisted development and analysis tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot and approved code centric agents)
  • Leverage AI to accelerate system design, coding, testing, analysis, and troubleshooting
  • Apply strong technical judgment when validating and integrating AI assisted outputs into solutions
  • Understand and account for model limitations, security risks, and operational considerations
  • Apply AI responsibly in development and production environments
  • Ensure AI usage aligns with security, compliance, privacy, and ethical standards


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of IAM technologies such as CyberArk, SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or related platforms.
  • Experience delivering programs or projects involving access governance, identity lifecycle management, or access automation.
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders across technology, security, risk, and business organizations.
  • Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating security risks, issues, and remediation activities.
  • Experience supporting audit, compliance, governance, or regulatory initiatives.
  • Strong verbal, written, and executive-level communication skills.
  • Experience utilizing Agile delivery methodologies and project management practices.
  • Experience within financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of information security frameworks, controls, and risk management practices.
  • PMP, CSM, CISSP, CISA, Security+, or similar certifications.
  • Experience delivering IAM modernization, automation, or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with reporting, metrics, and dashboards utilizing tools such as ServiceNow, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
