Job Summary
The Instructor/Official is a critical role on any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-court coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day.
We are currently hiring for our Fall season (Saturday afternoons/evenings) at the following venue:
  • Evergreen Middle School

Responsibilities
  • Study and enforce i9 Sports rules and safety for all players. Stripes and whistle provided by employee.
  • Instruct players during practice using age-appropriate practice plans developed by i9 Sports.
  • Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills (Email, text, verbal, written). Responsiveness is critical.
  • Volleyball playing, coaching or officiating experience is a must.
  • Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and trustworthiness.
  • Situational awareness, attention to detail and critical thinking.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be dependable. We do not tolerate callouts.

Compensation: $17.13 - $22.00 per hour
