The Senior Human Resources Coordinator will assist with recruiting, interviewing, development, onboarding, offboarding, payroll, all administrative tasks associated with Human Resources and assistance with operations as needed. The Human Resource Coordinator works closely with the Owner/Operator and the leadership team. This role will focus on ensuring that we have high-caliber, customer-focused team members and leaders.

The Human Resource Coordinator understands, supports, and integrates Chick-fil-A Vine City's values and mission statement in each employee

and guest interaction. This role is offered as a full-time position. You must have some flexibility with availability. This means the ability to work

nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Duties Include:

  • Conduct applicant screenings, schedule and conduct interviews
  • Recruit qualified candidates from high school, college and community events
  • Prepare and complete employee files including I9’s, availability forms, job offers and all other required paperwork.
  • Facilitate employee benefits
  • Facilitate new team member orientation
  • Issue team member uniforms
  • Ensure unemployment claims are completed
  • Facilitate team member and leadership performance reviews
  • Ensure team members and leaders are properly on-boarded and off-boarded
  • Perform all payroll related duties
  • Assist with Employee Engagement activities and Employee Store Communications (Spotlight, GroupMe, etc.)
  • Mediate conflicts
  • Research and file Worker’s Compensation claims
  • Research and file guest claims
  • Track attendance and performance related issues
  • Ensure Chick-fil-A Vine City is compliant with all federal and state labor laws
  • Ensure policies and procedures are updated as needed
  • Assist in operations as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements Include:

  • Ability to coach and train
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Be able to multi-task and prioritize duties
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule
  • Be able to perform functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 40 lbs
  • Available to work at least 40 hours a week
  • Be available to work on weekends and holidays

Qualifications

  • Associare or Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Two to three years experience in Human Resources required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Restaurant experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
