Location: Hanford, CA
Position Type: Full-Time | Exempt
Salary Range: $38.46 – $44.99 per hour

Position Overview:
Kings View is seeking a Clinician I (Unlicensed) to join the Hanford Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT). This role provides field-based crisis response services for individuals of all ages experiencing mental health or substance use crises throughout Kings County.
The Clinician I responds independently to crisis situations, provides assessment and intervention services, supports stabilization efforts, and assists individuals in remaining safely within their communities.
Key Responsibilities:

Crisis Intervention & Assessment:
• Respond to behavioral health crisis calls throughout Kings County
• Conduct crisis triage, risk assessments, and mental health evaluations
• Develop safety plans and determine need for 5150/5585 placements
• Provide onsite therapeutic interventions and de-escalation support
• Assist with crisis stabilization and diversion from hospitals and jails
Care Coordination & Follow-Up:
• Provide case management and aftercare services
• Coordinate referrals and linkage to community resources
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
• Provide consultations and support to law enforcement and first responders
Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, COA, CCBHC, and CalAIM standards
• Complete required provider enrollment forms and reports
Program Support:
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Support community outreach, trainings, and agency initiatives
• Assist with Crisis Intervention Officer Training and ride-alongs
What You’ll Bring:
Required Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field
• Current Associate Licensure (ASW, AMFT, APCC)
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) or ability to obtain prior to start
• Valid California Driver’s License (Class C)
Required Experience:
• One (1) year experience providing crisis management and/or mental health services
Required Skills:
• Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
• Ability to assess DTS, DTO, and GD risk factors
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Ability to utilize electronic health record systems
Preferred Qualifications:
• Substance abuse clinical experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
