Job description

Company Description Julius Law Office is a family law legal practice based in Prior Lake, Minnesota. The firm serves clients in the local community and surrounding areas.


Role Description I am in need of a person that can do my billing. This would be a part-time position paying hourly. You may work at home and communicate with me by email and telephone. I only work part-time.


Presently, I need someone that is familiar with Quick Books online. However, I would like to move to using Smoke -Ball billing program. All billing statements are transmitted to my clients by email.


Responsibilities -are preparing, reviewing, and processing client invoices, ensuring billing entries are accurate, complete, and compliant with firm and client guidelines. Entering time and expenses into the billing system, resolving billing discrepancies, updating matter information, and coordinating with me.

Additionally, I need someone to take credit card payments by my clients over the phone.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Billing Process and Invoicing, including preparing, reviewing, and correcting client bills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with billing or accounting software and standard office applications (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing).
  • Previous experience in legal billing, accounting, or a related administrative role is preferred.


Hourly rate is completive.
