Job description

Position : Oracle DBA
Location : Orange, County, CA
Duration : 6 Months +
Interview Process: TECH CHEK test SQL 2005 must pass above 75%, then phone interview followed by final in person with manager
Top Three Skills:
1. Oracle DBA EBS - (Production Support) 10g/11i - must be a Production DBA - installing, configuring the Database, not dev
2. Oracle eBusiness Suite R12
3. Hyperion/OBIEE - Huge plus
JOb Description:
The candidate should have at least 8 years of background with Oracle database 10g and working knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite R12 environments. Skills should include Oracle eBS 12i, Oracle database 10g/11i, GRC Controls, GRC Manager, Hyperion and OBIEE is a plus. Day to day duties will include the systems analysis, documentation, installation, configuring and maintenance of the Oracle eBS in PROD, TEST, integration, DEV and DR environments. Will also be involved in the SDLC for Oracle Financials, Hyperion and BI warehouse. Will be working with a team of 7 people mixed with SQL and Oracle backgrounds. O/S are Unix, Linux and Microsoft Windows 2003.
The candidate will need to have been in a large Database Environment at the Enterprise level. To fit into the culture of the team, the candidate should be aggressive to get the job done and be proactive where needed as well as roll up their sleeves to do anything including documentation. Good communication skills.
This is to offset some workload as they implement the Oracle e-Business R12 suite Financial package (general ledger, order mgmt, A/P) with Hyperion, BI, GRC Controls, GRC Manager, OBIEE. The reason for the need is due to the over flow of work during this project, they need someone to cover the SQL administration while the main DBA's are on the project. For someone to jump right in, the candidate will need to have managed large Database Environments at the Enterprise level.
To fit into the culture of the team, the candidate should be aggressive to get the job done and be proactive where needed as well as roll up their sleeves to do anything including documentation.
