What does hypercare mean?

Hypercare is a phase in project management or post-implementation support where a team provides intensive monitoring and assistance immediately after a system or product launch. This phase typically lasts until the system stabilizes and normal operations resume.

What is a Hypercare job?

A Hypercare job refers to a critical support role during the post-launch or go-live phase of a project, product, or system implementation. It involves providing immediate assistance, monitoring for issues, and ensuring a smooth transition by addressing any technical, operational, or user concerns. Hypercare teams work closely with stakeholders to resolve problems quickly, minimize disruptions, and optimize performance. This phase typically lasts for a defined period until stability is achieved and normal support processes take over.

You will often collaborate closely with end-users, IT teams, and business stakeholders to triage incidents, implement fixes, and provide updates on progress. Daily activities can range from troubleshooting technical errors and managing support tickets, to conducting user training and updating documentation.
