Job description

About Us

Health is the most important thing in life, and the American healthcare system is completely broken - poor outcomes, high cost, bad patient experience. We're building a new system from the ground up.

Our mission is to improve people's health by making it easy to live a healthy lifestyle.

Nourish is the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. We're an AI-native digital health system matching patients with 10,000+ Registered Dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered care across all 50 states. Founded four years ago, we've completed millions of appointments, tripled year-over-year, and partnered with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems.

In 2026 we raised a $100M Series C, bringing total funding to $215M. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners.

Learn more about our Series C here: Nourish Blog, Bloomberg, Fierce Healthcare, Digital Native, The Pulse Podcast.

This is not a job for everyone. We hold an extremely high bar because we believe talent density is our biggest competitive advantage. We're looking for people who actively choose hard, ambiguous problems, who run toward unglamorous work, give and receive candid feedback, and bring relentless resilience without the ego. Our work is important, but we are not self-important. We do this because we're solving one of the hardest problems in the world, and the problem matters. If that's you, we disproportionately reward it.

About the Role

As a Clinical Recruiter, you'll play a critical role in shaping the journey for Nourish Medical providers (Nurse Practitioners, Physicians) looking to join Nourish. You will act as the gateway into Nourish, and will more often than not the first person a Nourish Medical provider will interact with from Nourish in their journey. This role is centered around creating an amazing hiring experience - vetting candidates, setting up offers, developing timely and encouraging candidate communication plans, and answering complex questions needed to help providers decide if Nourish is the right place for them.

You'll take full ownership of our Nourish Medical applicants (a large and growing group each month) and shape their hiring experience from end to end. You'll help refine and evolve our hiring strategy, taking initiative to improve processes as we grow. And you'll get to interact every day with providers making meaningful decisions for their careers, and extend them the opportunity to join Nourish's mission and community.

As an early hire on our Nourish medical team, you will have lots of opportunities to grow with us and shape how we approach expanding our provider base. You'll be joining a collaborative and passionate team that's dedicated to improving lives through better metabolic care, and you'll be a pivotal player in our vision to help one hundred million people live healthier, longer lives using Nourish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the dedicated point of contact for candidates, building a deep knowledge of Nourish's value prop, policies, and processes to effectively communicate with providers
  • Own the full candidate lifecycle, from application review and screening through interviews, offer calls, and close
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience while helping assess clinical fit, alignment with Nourish's care model, and readiness to thrive in a startup environment.
  • Sync regularly with internal stakeholders on candidate feedback, hiring decisions, and pipeline priorities
  • Collaborate with Corporate Strategy, Provider Onboarding, Provider Strategy, and Product teams to create feedback loops that improve candidate experience
  • Make process improvements based on feedback from providers and internal stakeholders to improve the overall recruiting experience, both qualitatively and quantitatively
  • Drive applicant engagement through proactive outreach and timely follow-ups that increase offer acceptance
  • Lead outbound recruiting efforts to our highest priority prospects, via personalized emails and calls
We'd love to hear from you if:
  • You have 1-3+ years of experience in recruiting; clinical recruiting or experience recruiting licensed healthcare providers is a plus
  • You are hyper-organized and skilled at managing a high-volume process, handling multiple interactions at once while ensuring no detail is overlooked
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and gain energy from engaging with providers across phone, video, email, and chat
  • You can learn new processes and assume ownership quickly, understanding a detailed process right after having it explained
  • You're a strong problem-solver who can think on your feet and offer creative solutions to optimize processes
  • You're passionate about metabolic health, and you're motivated to help others improve their health by expanding access to high-quality care
  • You've excelled in fast-paced start-ups, particularly in healthcare operations, telehealth, SaaS, or tech, where quick thinking and adaptability are key
