Position Overview

Hype Motion Physical Therapy, LLC is actively seeking an experienced and licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, where you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise and compassion in providing exceptional care to our patients. The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Work Environment

As part of our Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment. Our facilities are equipped with the latest technology and tools designed to enhance patient care. You will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to maintain a balanced work-life schedule while delivering personalized physical therapy services in a vibrant community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand and adhere to the state practice acts governing physical therapy practice, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients presenting with functional limitations and disabilities, developing tailored treatment plans to address individual needs.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations that include reviewing patient histories, conducting specific assessments, and documenting results and recommendations accurately.
  • Implement and adjust treatment protocols based on initial evaluations, the patient's response, and evolving healthcare standards, demonstrating flexibility and clinical expertise.
  • Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, recognizing and documenting changes in patient conditions that may necessitate modifications to treatment plans.
  • Oversee discharge planning processes and ensure follow-up care is established, maintaining clear and accurate documentation of patient progress, including initial evaluations, daily notes, interim summaries, and discharge evaluations.
  • Complete all required corporate and clinical training, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Evaluate and direct treatments for patients with medically necessary physical therapy needs, ensuring clear documentation of the medical necessity for services provided.
  • Participate actively in facility meetings and contribute to teamwork efforts aimed at improving access to care and patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on serving patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. By utilizing evidence-based methodologies and empathetic care, you will help patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Florida, issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
  • A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is required.
  • Current CPR certification.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with various therapy modalities and techniques applicable to orthopedic rehabilitation.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation protocols.
  • Background in multidisciplinary team collaboration and care coordination.
