Family Best Care is seeking a reliable, compassionate caregiver for an as needed weekend on-call assignment supporting a client with memory care needs in Clinton, Washington.

This opportunity is ideal for a caregiver who values consistency, enjoys building relationships with clients, and takes pride in providing dependable, high-quality care. The caregiver will provide companionship, support daily routines, assist with activities of daily living, promote client safety, and help maintain a calm and structured environment.

Schedule

This is an ongoing client assignment requiring availability for the following shifts:

  • Monday- Friday

  • Applicants must be available to work the listed schedule as assigned.

Location

The client resides on Whidbey Island, Washington.

Applicants should carefully consider commute time and transportation requirements before applying. Reliable transportation, punctuality, and consistent attendance are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Support bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene

  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention

  • Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement

  • Offer calm reassurance and redirection when needed

  • Support daily routines and maintain a structured environment

  • Prepare meals and encourage hydration and nutrition

  • Monitor for safety concerns and changes in condition

  • Complete light housekeeping related to the client's care

  • Accompany the client on appointments, errands, or community activities as needed

  • Complete accurate documentation and care notes

  • Communicate client updates and concerns to the Family Best Care office promptly

  • Follow the care plan and established client routines

Pay & Benefits
