POSITION SUMMARY
The Inside Sales and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting business development, customer engagement, marketing initiatives, and lead generation efforts for The Erosion Company (TEC). This position serves as a key link between operations, sales, customers, and marketing by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, coordinating marketing activities, and tracking sales performance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Inside Sales

• Generate and qualify sales leads through outbound calls, emails, networking, and customer outreach.
• Prospect and develop relationships with contractors, developers, municipalities, and other potential customers.
• Maintain ongoing communication with prospective and existing customers to identify project opportunities and support business growth.
• Schedule meetings and appointments for Regional Sales Managers, Branch Managers, and Business Development personnel.
• Assist in preparing proposals, bid packages, presentations, and customer communications.
• Track customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities within the company's CRM system.
• Follow-up on quotes, bids, proposals, and customer inquiries to increase conversion rates and drive revenue growth.
• Support customer retention through proactive communication and relationship management.
• Monitor market trends, project activity, and competitive intelligence to identify new business opportunities and provide insights to leadership.

Marketing & Communications

• Coordinate marketing campaigns to support business growth and brand awareness.
• Assist with developing marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, email campaigns, and promotional items.
• Coordinate customer events, trade shows, industry conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Support recruiting marketing initiatives by promoting TEC's employer brand, website content and marketing.
• Ensure all marketing materials align with TEC branding standards.

Administrative & Reporting

• Maintain accurate customer, prospect, and lead databases.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, customer engagement, and marketing effectiveness.
• Assist leadership with special projects and market research initiatives.
• Coordinate with branch leadership and operations teams to identify customer opportunities.
• Maintain records of customer contacts, marketing campaigns, and event participation.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Sales, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service, marketing, business development, or a related role.
• Construction, industrial services, or related industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking platforms preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Sales-driven mindset with a strong focus on customer engagement, lead generation, and revenue growth.
