Job title: Quality Manager

Location: Plastic Omnium e-Power Inc., Elkhart, IN, U.S.A.

Job duties: Perform, manage, lead, and approve plant wide DMAIC and Six Sigma, utilizing Pareto Chart, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Capability (Cpk), and Process Performance (Ppk) statistical tools, to identify and solve process variations and root causes of product quality problems; Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using Eight Disciplines (8Ds), Fishbone/Ishikawa diagrams, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) cycles to solve chronic problems; and sitewide Layered Process Audits (LPAs) and System Process Audits (SPAs), reviewing internal and external customer feedback and quality indicators and applying Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA/PFMEA) to reduce process variations, and implement effective countermeasures to prevent product and process issues.

Education: Bachelor, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related.

Experience: Sixty months' experience as Quality Manager, Supplier Quality Manager, or Supplier Quality Engineering Manager, or related, in job offered or related.
