Your contribution!

The candidate will play a key role in the preparation of consolidated financial statements. They will be able to apply their expertise in consolidation and reporting through various opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement. They possess an analytical mind, critical thinking skills, and demonstrate sound professional judgment.

Your day-to-day!

  • Participate in the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and management reports;
  • Play a key role in the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process for multiple entities located in various countries and operating in multiple currencies;
  • Prepare analyses and reconciliations for the financial statement line items under their responsibility;
  • Prepare the notes to the consolidated financial statements (quarterly and annual);
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements for various entities;
  • Actively participate in various special projects and conduct various analyses as needed;
  • Provide support to other departments within the company on accounting matters.

Your skills, our requirements!

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting;
  • Hold a recognized accounting designation (CPA);

  • Experience in a similar role at a major accounting firm ("Big Four") or a public company with multiple subsidiaries;

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with US GAAP is a plus;
  • Experience managing multiple currencies is a plus;

  • Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills;

  • Excellent ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment;
  • Ability to take initiative and assume responsibility;
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills;
  • Independence and the ability to learn quickly;

  • Proficiency in Excel is essential;
  • Microsoft Office;
  • Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written) required to ensure collaboration with various stakeholders outside Quebec on a recurring basis.

  • The position is based at the company's head office in Longueuil, steps away from the Longueuil-Universite de Sherbrooke metro station.

  • This position is a P3 level.
