Job description

We're looking for a Hydraulic Test Technician who will test, configure, and assemble MTS hydro-mechanical subsystems.


What You'll Do:

Test, calibrate, and assemble hydro-mechanical subsystems according to engineering blueprints and specifications, bills of materials and manufacturing process documentation:

  • Meet standards for quality, efficiency, and schedule
  • Interpret engineering documents to determine results and processes
  • Ability to use hand tools, specialized tooling, and basic measuring equipment


Troubleshoot and repair new and customer hydro-mechanical subsystems:

  • Diagnose problems
  • Develop solutions and resolve performance issues


Collaborate to maintain accuracy of documents and records per MTS policies:

  • Initiate modifications and/or improvements to engineering and manufacturing documentation
  • Actively and accurately executes non-conforming materials process


Participate in process and quality improvement activities.


Maintain and actively develop skills assembling & testing MTS products and industry technology:

  • Participate in required training
  • Provide training (as appropriate)


What You Bring:

  • Two-year certification from college or trade school or military training in an applicable discipline (mechanics, hydraulics), or four years applicable experience in an applicable environment
  • Must understand and apply basic hydro-mechanical technologies
