Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends for emergency service
Compensation

Starting Pay: $40.00 per hour (based on experience and licensing) plus performance-based commissions, bonuses, overtime opportunities, and incentives.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Technician with a minimum of five (3-5) years of residential and commercial plumbing experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and skilled in diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing plumbing systems while providing an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities

Plumbing Services

Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Install, repair, and replace:
  • Water heaters (tank and tankless)
  • Toilets
  • Faucets
  • Garbage disposals
  • Sump pumps
  • Water filtration systems
  • Plumbing fixtures
  • Troubleshoot leaks, clogged drains, sewer line problems, and water supply issues.
  • Perform drain cleaning using professional equipment.
  • Complete water line repairs and repiping projects.
  • Perform sewer line inspections and repairs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plumbing diagrams, and technical documents.
  • Perform all work in accordance with Virginia plumbing codes and company quality standards.
Customer Service

  • Explain repair options clearly and professionally.
  • Educate customers on recommended repairs and maintenance options.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every service call.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Build long-term customer relationships based on trust and quality artistry.
Documentation & Technology

  • Complete accurate estimates using company software.
  • Document completed work using ServiceTitan or similar field service software.
  • Maintain accurate service records.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, office staff, and management.
Vehicle & Equipment

  • Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle.
  • Maintain company tools and equipment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Participate in emergency and on-call rotations as scheduled.
Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of residential and commercial plumbing experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair plumbing systems independently.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing systems and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Knowledge of Virginia plumbing codes and safety regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Virginia Journeyman or Master Plumber License (preferred).
