Job Summary:
A technician with previous experience repairing, servicing, or building complex equipment and tooling assemblies. The ability to read and understand engineering drawings, bills of material, and hydraulic schematics. The ability to operate hand tools and basic machine tools and must understand standard assembly practices. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and some basic electronics is a plus) additional mechanical or technical schooling (trade or college; MET or Mechanical Technician) is strongly preferred.
Provide a level of support and service which ensures the optimum customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analytical troubleshooting, repair, and testing of tools & equipment at the company's service station in Sterling Va, occasionally at other service stations in the US and customer sites.
  • Identify technical problems and provide appropriate recommendations on assigned responsibilities.
  • Drawing up findings or test reports regarding the condition of tools & equipment
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance work according to processes, guidelines and safety regulations.
  • Responsible for timely completion of recertification / repair orders and provide occasional on-site project support.
  • Adherence to processes, guidelines, safety regulations and manufacturer specifications
  • Independent execution of service assignments.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • 5+ years maintenance or service experience preferred (technical experience required).
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Excel and Power point
  • Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and fully understand general procedure manuals.
  • Skills pertaining to mechanical evaluations and repairs of a wide range of equipment
  • Physical condition of the candidate should allow them to perform manual labor and tasks for up to 8 hours during the day if required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Occasional travel to service stations in the US and to customer sites will be required.
  • Ability to interact effectively at various levels within the customer's organization
  • This role is based in Sterling, Virginia
