Job Overview

The Territory Manager drives sales growth through development and engagement activities inside an assigned market. Market development activities will include increasing demand and awareness thru marketing, networking, and education. This effort includes resourcing and participating in trade shows, home shows, workshops and various local organizations and associations (OGA, IGSHPA, Hydro-Québec, etc).  Distributor, Manufactures Reps and Dealer development is accomplished through influence, training, and accountability. This development will include increasing mindshare, sales experience, and technical competency. This position also requires consistent engagement with Distributors, dealers, Reps and trade allies to introduce products, programs and promotions.

Responsibilities and Duties

·        Identify market potential to increase sales and market share.

·        Meet or exceed annual sales and contribution margin goals.

·        Increase consumer/contractor awareness and order demand through marketing, advertising, networking, education, and lead generation activities.

·        Maintain a Distributor and Manufactures Representative base by driving performance, accountability and constant recruiting of new opportunities as needed

·        Provide leadership and coaching to increase sales and lead generation activities.

·        Develop a network of strategic trade allies and market influencers in support of market development activities.

·        Create and report sales forecast and territory need utilizing a CRM platform.

·        Evaluate distributor manufactures Rep performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities

Qualifications

·        Strong presentation and communication skills

·        5 years technical sales experience (B2B with proven sales growth track record.

·        Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

·        Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.

·        BA/BS in technical or business-related field of study, or equivalent experience. Fluent in French required. 

·        Able to travel 75% of the time
