Job Title: 1st Shift Hydraulic Assembler



Job Description

This role focuses on assembling, testing, and validating a variety of hydraulic units by accurately reading blueprints and using hand and power tools. The position requires strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of hydraulic systems, and the ability to perform high-pressure and leak testing to ensure each unit meets quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications, components, and assembly sequence for hydraulic units.
  • Assemble various types of hydraulic units using appropriate hand tools and power tools in accordance with engineering and quality standards.
  • Install and connect hydraulic components such as valves, hoses, fittings, and other related parts to complete the assembly.
  • Perform high-pressure testing on completed hydraulic units to verify that they hold pressure within specified limits.
  • Conduct leak testing on hydraulic units to ensure there are no leaks and that all connections are secure and properly sealed.
  • Inspect assembled units for defects, misalignments, or deviations from specifications and make necessary adjustments or corrections.
  • Document test results and communicate any issues or nonconformities to the appropriate team members for resolution.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working with hydraulic equipment, high-pressure systems, and tools.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve assembly processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in hydraulic assembly.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
