Job Description

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:ย 

  • Assist the System Inspector on the job site, as needed.
  • Assist valve crews, as needed.
  • Assist emergency Inspectors only on the job site.
  • Conduct hydrant testing, valve testing, and flushing programs.
  • Assist System Inspectors with customer notifications.
  • Operate company systems, devices and software applications.
  • Perform their duties and share services for other business units in the NJ/NY Metro region, as assigned.
  • Perform other similar or less skilled work, as assigned.
  • Assists employees of a higher classification, as assigned.
Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:ย 

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:ย 

  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required Certification/Licenses/Training:ย 

  • Must pass demonstration of abilities test.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay Rate:ย $38.36 per hour.
