Sr. Accountant โ€“ Hybrid โ€“ FULL-TIME - GOVCON EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Position Description

Intelligence Federal is a fast-growing government contracting company seeking a Sr. Accountant who is technically proficient, competent, and friendly.

This is a full-time position and eligible for benefits through Intelligence Federal. Our company was recently voted one of 2024 Best Places to Work in Washington, DC by the Washington Business Journal!

JOB DUTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

โ€ข Perform general ledger accounting activities including journal entries, account and balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, reclasses, and month-end close support.

โ€ข Responsible for invoicing, cash application, billing activities, and the resolution of discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.

โ€ข Handle full AR lifecycle for fixed-price, T&M, and CPFF contracts.

โ€ข Process semi-monthly, multi-state payroll and support labor-related accounting, ensuring accurate postings, reconciliations, and coordination between timekeeping, billing, and the general ledger.

โ€ข GAAP Financial Reporting, documentation, and internal control.

โ€ข Preformed GSA invoicing and Industrial Funding FEE (IFF) Reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:

โ€ข A minimum of Five (5) years of full cycle, GovCon accounting experience.

โ€ข Experience with government project set-up required.

โ€ข Experience using QuickBooks on-line required.
