The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will follow safety and security standards and complete incident reports as required.

While this position is intended to be scheduled for the Swing Shift, candidates should have open and flexibility to include mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

The hourly rate range for this position is $29.30/hour to $30.91/hour. The starting rate for this position is $29.30/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the position for four years or more with Hyatt, which is currently offered at $29.89/hour. For those colleagues in a lead position, $30.30/hour is offered, and for Lead Security Officers who have been in their position for four years or more with Hyatt, the established rate is currently $30.91/hour.

Qualifications:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment

• Refined verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, mornings, afternoons, and evenings

• Proficient in basic computer skills

• Previous customer service experience preferred

• Ability to drive on behalf of Hyatt with a valid Driver's License is preferred
