Your Role

As our Lead Installer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality installations while setting the standard for the rest of the team.

You'll:

  • Lead residential HVAC replacement and retrofit projects from start to finish
  • Supervise, coach, and train apprentice and junior installers in the field
  • Ensure every installation meets company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and local codes
  • Delegate work effectively while keeping projects on schedule
  • Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, mini-splits, ductwork, gas piping, refrigeration lines, and controls
  • Perform equipment startups, testing, commissioning, and final inspections
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and make field decisions confidently
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout each project
  • Maintain safe, organized job sites and promote best practices with the installation team
  • Help improve installation processes and provide feedback to management on technician development

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
  • Previous experience leading crews or mentoring apprentices
  • Strong background in residential retrofit and replacement work
  • Ability to read installation plans and solve problems independently
  • Knowledge of duct design, refrigeration piping, gas piping, low-voltage controls, and equipment commissioning
  • Commitment to producing clean, high-quality workmanship every day
