Required Skills & Experience

-3+ years of HVAC experience

-Experience performing HVAC repairs and installations

-Hands-on experience with heat pumps

-Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting

-Universal EPA 608 Certification

-Experience with newer refrigerant regulations and refrigerants (R-454B and related technologies)

-Strong classroom management, leadership, mentoring, or group leadership experience

-Comfortable using computers and learning/training on systems such as Citrix for attendance and student progression tracking

-Ability and desire to mentor students and support their success

-Ability to pass a drug screening and background check

-Valid driver's license

-Brazing experience

-Sheet metal fabrication experience

-Experience using sheet metal brakes and performing Pittsburgh bends
