HVAC Retrofit Installer

All Seasons Inc | Tacoma WA

We are a family-owned and operated HVAC company proudly serving Tacoma and the surrounding areas with expert, reliable services. Our team has 25 years of experience in the design, installation and repair of residential and commercial heating and AC. We continually strive to provide expert heating, air conditioning, energy efficiency and indoor air quality solutions to our customers.

We offer full-time, year-round work, company-paid training to obtain and maintain industry certification, including NATES, and Electrical Trainee instruction and certified hours for a 06A and 06B Licenses.

Position: HVAC Installer

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour, depending on experience + Spiffs

Hours: Monday through Friday | 7:00am to 5:00pm | Occasional overtime

What you will be doing:

  • Complete residential and light commercial HVAC retrofit and replacement installations
  • Install both ducted and ductless heating and cooling systems
  • Install and connect natural gas piping for HVAC equipment
  • Run and install refrigeration line sets in accordance with industry standards
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction blueprints
  • Test, balance, and verify proper system operation after installation
  • Educate customers on their new equipment and recommend indoor air quality products when appropriate
  • Mentor and train installation apprentices and new team members on proper installation techniques
  • Lead installation crews by overseeing workmanship, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of hands-on experience completing residential HVAC retrofit and replacement installations
  • 06A or 06B Electrical License - Desired
  • Active electrical trainee card with documented training hours
  • EPA Universal Certification required
  • Strong knowledge of residential HVAC system design, ductwork layout, and installation practices
  • Experienced in installing and servicing refrigerant systems, gas and electric furnaces, heat pumps, and residential/light commercial HVAC equipment
  • Working knowledge of HVAC low-voltage electrical controls and wiring
  • Ability to mentor, train, and supervise an installation helper or apprentice
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education required

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
