Job description

Bellows Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is growing and we're hiring an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our North Bay team. We serve customers across the San Francisco Bay Area, with work throughout Marin, Sonoma, and Napa counties. This is a full time, field based position focused on residential and light commercial service and repair work.
Top performers in this role earn strong income through a combination of hourly pay and commission opportunities tied to performance and quality, with top technicians earning $100,000-$150,000+ annually.
About the Role
As an HVAC Service Technician at Bellows, you'll diagnose, service, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems. You'll work independently to troubleshoot issues, provide solutions, and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
This role is for experienced technicians only. We are not hiring entry level or apprentice candidates for this position.

What You'll Do
โ€ข Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
โ€ข Service and maintain forced air furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps
โ€ข Troubleshoot zoning systems, ductwork, and airflow issues
โ€ข Work on mini split systems, wall heaters, and floor heaters
โ€ข Service commercial package units
โ€ข Perform system inspections and preventative maintenance
โ€ข Identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions
โ€ข Read plans and follow job specifications
โ€ข Ensure jobs are completed safely and up to code
โ€ข Maintain clean, organized job sites
โ€ข Communicate with customers and the team to keep jobs on track
