Overview:

Total Air is seeking a full-time Installation Manager to lead our HVAC installation operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation team, ensuring residential and light commercial HVAC projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to Total Air's quality standards. The Installation Manager will provide hands-on leadership to Lead Installers and Installer Helpers, coordinate with operations, dispatch, sales, and parts, and ensure every installation delivers an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, coach, and manage HVAC Lead Installers, Installers, and Installer Helpers
  • Coordinate daily installation schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time
  • Ensure all HVAC installations meet company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable mechanical, electrical, and safety codes
  • Conduct jobsite visits and quality inspections to ensure proper installation practices and workmanship
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to installation teams in the field
  • Train and develop installation team members on proper installation techniques, safety procedures, quality standards, and customer service expectations
  • Review job documentation and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately, thoroughly, and on time
  • Monitor installation productivity, job completion, callbacks, warranty issues, and overall quality performance
  • Partner with sales and operations teams to review installation requirements and address potential jobsite or equipment concerns
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, management, parts, warehouse, sales, and installation teams
  • Ensure installation crews have the proper tools, equipment, materials, certifications, and resources needed to complete their work
  • Help resolve customer concerns related to installation work and ensure issues are addressed professionally and promptly
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure installation teams follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain a professional, accountable, and team-oriented installation department

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC installation, with previous leadership, supervisory, or field management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of residential HVAC installation, including split systems, package units, and heat pumps
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, train, and hold field teams accountable
  • Strong understanding of HVAC installation best practices, airflow, ductwork, equipment setup, and system commissioning
  • Knowledge of applicable Mechanical and Electrical Codes
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple crews and installation projects
  • Ability to troubleshoot installation and technical issues in the field
  • Self-motivated team player with an emphasis on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • CFC Certification - Type I and II
  • Current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Neat and professional appearance
  • Clean criminal background
  • Able to pass random drug tests
