Mobile HVAC Engineer Commercial Facilities

Are you an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician who enjoys variety, independence, and solving mechanical challenges? We're looking for a Mobile HVAC Engineer to join our growing team! If you're self-motivated, organized, and have strong commercial HVAC experience with a solid facilities maintenance background, this is an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked in commercial environments such as hotels, retail, healthcare, or office buildings and enjoys a mix of preventative maintenance, service calls, and troubleshooting. Experience working on ice machines and performing compressor replacements and warranty repairs is highly valued.

What You'll Do
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, ice machines, compressors, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Maintain mechanical, plumbing, and basic electrical building systems.
  • Perform facility inspections and identify maintenance needs before they become major issues.
  • Complete work orders and update maintenance records using a CMMS platform such as Corrigo.
  • Perform general building maintenance including lighting, doors, ceilings, and other facility repairs.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Travel between commercial facilities in a company vehicle.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring equipment reliability and uptime.
What We're Looking For
  • 3-4+ years of hands-on commercial HVAC experience.
  • Experience servicing commercial buildings such as hotels, retail, healthcare, or office facilities.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills, including compressor replacements and warranty work.
  • Experience servicing ice machines is preferred.
  • General facilities maintenance experience including plumbing, mechanical, and basic electrical repairs.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • EPA Universal Certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with commercial refrigeration.
  • Experience using Corrigo or other CMMS/work order systems.
  • Trade school or apprenticeship in HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
