Job description

Automotive Counter Assistant (a.k.a. Shop Ninja)

Autohaus Import Service is on the hunt for a multitasking superhero. Autohaus has been around for over 20years helping our community get to soccer games, doctor’s appointments, and work on time. Working hard to keep our clients moving is why we need your help to answer phones, assist in checking in client’s vehicles, and stay on top of parts orders and our loaner fleet. All while keeping the supply shelves from look like the bread aisle when they’ve announced snow is on the way. Oh—and you’ll need to handle “a million other tasks” we don’t have space to list.

What’s In It For You:

  • A paycheck, obviously. $18-22/hr. (Automotive experience helpful but not necessary)
  • Weekday hours with OT. 7:30-5:30
  • Ongoing training in the best industry in the world….one that truly focuses on helping people.
  • Six paid Holidays
  • Retirement program.
  • 100% company paid employee health care.
  • A team that actually appreciates you (and shows it).
  • A front-row seat to the most entertaining shop in town.
  • The joy of telling your friends, “I keep Autohaus running.”

Your Superpowers Include:

  • Talking on the phone without sounding like you’d rather be somewhere else.
  • Making clients feel welcome (even on a Monday).
  • Juggling schedules, parts, and paperwork without breaking into a cold sweat.
  • Keeping inventory from turning into a scavenger hunt.
  • Being the glue that holds the whole circus together.

We’ll Love You If You:

  • You love to laugh (both at yourself and us).
  • Stay calm when the phone, front door, deliveries and techs all need you at once.
  • Are organized enough to know where the pens went.
  • Think “a million other tasks” sounds like fun, not punishment.
  • Don’t run from car talk—it’s okay, we’ll translate.

Ready to join the team? Apply today and help us keep Autohaus running at its best!
