Job description

Position Title: Robotics Expert/Advisor
Location: Washington, DC (On-Site)

Position Description:
Join a pioneering team as a Senior Robotics Expert/Advisor, leading the development and integration of next-generation humanoid robotic systems. This role involves guiding multidisciplinary teams across AI, controls, mechatronics, autonomy, and simulation to build robust, human-interactive embodied AI platforms. You will oversee end-to-end system design, hardware integration, and AI deployment, ensuring high-quality, scalable robotics solutions.
Responsibilities include developing locomotion, manipulation, perception systems, and sensor integration; driving simulation-to-real transfers; and optimizing real-time robotic software using ROS/ROS2, C++, and Python. Lead efforts in sensor fusion, navigation, and control algorithms to deliver advanced humanoid robots capable of operating in complex environments.

Top Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in robotics engineering, including control systems, kinematics, and sensor fusion

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional engineering teams and translating research into deployable systems
  • Advanced knowledge of humanoid robots, locomotion, and embodied AI systems
  • Experience with reinforcement learning, simulation, and real-world robot deployment
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences
