Job Description

CONTRACT POSITION - 1 Year

We have an immediate opening for a Project Manager to manage multiple software development and implementation projects. Projects include new development and integration of various Software systems and activities need to be coordinated with multiple agencies.


The candidate will coordinate with program managers who have operational responsibility for these systems and the other IT staff as needed.
Works with functional teams and technical teams, manages vendor/client relationship, and develops work plans for migration projects and implementations.
Identifies and manages risk.
Generates detailed status reports. May work with multiple business owners in developing requirements.
Create and maintain project schedules and related project documentation and follows up with appropriate staff. Reports status to management.

Qualifications

8 years - Software Development Life Cycle Project Management

8 years - Project Management tools (MS Project, Visio, Excel, SharePoint)

8 years - Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills 

5 years - Risk Analysis

8 years - Technical Project management experience

5 years - Experience in managing SW operations/maintenance projects

  Desired

3 years - Experience in Agile methodology

Bachelor's Degree

  Nice to have !! 

6 years - Technical experience in implementing .NET based web applications
