You will lead and contribute tocutting-edgehuman-robot/AIinteraction research within a dynamic computing school. You will publish in leading venues, collaborate across disciplines, and build your independent research programme.

Whatyou willdeliver:

  • Conduct independent research in human-robot interaction, delivering high-quality experimental outcomes and peer-reviewed publications.

  • Develop and manage research plans, timelines, and documentation, ensuringaccuraterecords of experiments and analyses.

  • Contribute to teaching, supervision, and mentoring through lectures, tutorials, laboratory activities, and student research projects.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, strengthening theSchool'shuman-robot/AIinteraction research profile and outputs.

  • Participate in seminars, committees, and outreach, supporting funding bids and effective dissemination of research outcomes.

You may be a great fitifyou:

  • Hold a PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Human-Robot Interaction,Human-AIInteractionor a closely related discipline.

  • Demonstrate a strong publication record in leading HRI, robotics, or human-computer interaction conferences and journals.

  • Perform independent, innovative research while collaborating effectively within interdisciplinary teams and partnerships.

  • Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to experimental data,maintainingmeticulous and reproducible research records.
