Human Resource Assistant | Lehi, UT


The HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team. This role assists with unemployment claims, workers' compensation, benefits administration, employee record maintenance, compliance-related activities, research, and other HR functions. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to support multiple HR initiatives and projects.


Responsibilities

  • Utilize multiple HRIS systems to maintain employee records for 500+ employees.
  • Process unemployment claims for staffing employees.
  • Enter garnishments, child support, and other employee withholdings.
  • Conduct research on current HR laws and trends.
  • Provide HR assistance in areas including employment law and HR best practices.
  • Assist with support of Nexeo clients, including legal documentation, content development, research, and other HR functions.
  • Provide support for the administrative needs of the HR team.
  • Assist Payroll and HR teams with additional needs as assigned.
  • Assist team members with additional tasks and projects.
  • Assist the HR department with internal and external projects related to organizational needs and employee relations matters.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and other HR-related projects.
  • Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to support departmental goals and business needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.

Pay

$15.00 -$17.00 per hour DOE


Schedule
Part Time | Monday- Friday | Flexible, 15-20 hours per week


Work Environment

This position is in-office and operates in a professional office environment with no specialized physical demand.
